Lately several major race stock classes, including the JBRL Series events, have been dominated by drivers using a new brushless motor to the market. This new motor appears to be a whole new breed of spec class motors, and therefore we wanted to know more!
As it turns out these new motors are from Schuur Speed Racing. Schuur Speed is a USA based company based out of Anaheim, California. They offer an entire lineup of ROAR approved spec 13.5, 17.5, and 21.5 brushless motors. All of their motors are completely rebuildable with all spare parts available seperately directly from them. Schuur Speed uses a unique can design which allows maximum airflow for keeping the motors cool to improve speed and run time as well as a 12.5mm sintered Neodymium rotor for that extra bit of power.
Each motor is built with high quality and smooth bearings to improve precious RPM, and also includes a ribbon style sensor cable.
