The prototype rig we saw Billy Easton Wheeling at the CRCRC race a couple weeks ago looks to be production ready.
Spotted at the Nuremberg Toy Fair in Germany this past weekend, the Serpent truggy, named the 'Cobra-T', is believed to be available in March.
The truggy is based off of the Serpent Cobra S811 1/8th nitro buggy, which Easton piloted to a podium finish in Thailand last November at the IFMAR worlds.
LRC isn't quite sure of the future of the truggy class, but for at least the next year or so it will most likely remain a focus of teams at major races due to the lack of a popular 'second class.'
Serpent's new offering looks to be just as capable of succeeding as their buggy platform. Now the only thing left for them to do is wrangle up a stable of drivers to go along with Easton.
