Tekno RC is happy to announce the next vehicle from our highly acclaimed ‘2.0’ racing platform.  When introducing new 1/8th vehicles and platforms in the past, we usually introduce the electric version first.  This time around we switched things up, and the NB48 2.0 got the honors. Customers from around the world were interested in the many innovations and design changes we had in store, causing the first batch of NB48 2.0’s to sell out in just a few hours. Reviews of on-track performance have been great, and the second batch of kits sold out in less than a day.  Of course the most asked question since releasing the NB48 2.0 was, “When will the EB48 2.0 be available?”

In true Tekno RC fashion, we didn’t rush the release of our new buggy.  We thoroughly tested and tuned every aspect. And then we tested and tuned some more.  We wanted to be sure that it would live up to all of the expectations. Now, the time has come and we are 100% ready to unleash the new standard in 1/8th scale competition electric buggy vehicles.

Your patience and loyalty are always appreciated and never taken for granted.  The EB48 2.0 is here and ready to rip up tracks all over the world. We think it could be the best vehicle we’ve ever produced. We incorporated many of the new features introduced on the NB48 2.0 such as ultra narrow pivots, long A-arm suspension geometry, super smooth high volume diffs, optimal chassis flex, and easy access diffs.  But we didn’t stop there. A new 4mm chassis plate with decoupled components as well as an updated motor mount were developed to produce a slightly wider, weight forward layout that has made for an incredibly well balanced and durable buggy.

Results from on-track testing have been great with Joe Bornhorst and Jared Tebo on the top of the podium at almost every race they’ve attended. Expect the same amazing rough track handling and corner speed you’ve come to expect from the NB48 2.0 thanks to the long arms, narrow bulkheads and optimized front end. You’ll also be happy to know the EB48 2.0 shares many of the same parts as the NB48 2.0, reducing the number of spares to keep on hand.

We want to say a huge thank you to our customers, and team drivers around the world for making the NB48 2.0 such a success, and we are excited to continue that success with the next evolution in the electric 1/8th scale class - the Tekno RC EB48 2.0.

Preorders will open and all parts for the EB48 2.0 will be available Monday February 3, 2020 at 8am Eastern Standard Time on our site www.teknorc.comand from our worldwide dealer and distribution network. Kits are expected to ship mid-to-late February.
