New EB410 Option Parts And Trucker Style Hats Now Available!

Tekno RC is happy to announce the release of three new optional parts for our successful EB410 1/10th scale 4wd buggy as well as the new “trucker style” hats in flat and round bill varieties. For more information regarding the specs and further details please check below:

EB410 Universal Driveshafts:

Universal driveshafts are now available for your EB410 buggy.  These driveshaft assemblies are CNC machined from high-quality steel alloy and black oxidized for wear resistance.  Extreme working angles are no problem and as a genuine Tekno part, they are durable and will wear very well.  They are also lightweight as the excess material has been removed without compromising performance or strength.

Universal driveshafts excel in rough conditions and can generate additional side bite by providing additional roll in the corners.  The suspension is allowed to work more efficiently when compared to the additional mechanical binding in CVA's.  This allows the vehicle to absorb bumps better with a reduced risk of "catching a rut" and flipping the car while cornering.  For smoother tracks, CVA's will produce more forward traction and support, but universals are also well suited with slight suspension setup changes (springs and oil).

The basic design of a universal driveshaft means virtually no maintenance is required and dirt and dust won't foul the operation of the joint.  These are ready to drop into your EB410 with the use of additional 8x14x4mm bearings (TKRBB08144).

Requirements

TKR6688 requires 2ea 8x14x4mm bearings (TKRBB08144), one for each wheel hub assembly. To completely outfit the EB410 with universal drive shafts TKR6687 must also be used in the rear of the vehicle along with two additional 8x14x4mm bearings.

TKR6583C - Shock Tower (rear, CF, additional camber link location, EB410)

This new carbon fiber rear tower for the EB410 provides a new option to horizontally mount your camber link positions. If you're interested in experimenting with rear shocks in front of the arms, this tower provides horizontal camber link locations that keep the geometry correctly proportioned. It shares the same shock mounting positions and is a direct replacement for TKR6582C or the original composite TKR6581(Rear). TKR6583C can also be used if you want to switch back to vertical camber link positions.
