New Tekno RC Shock Towers and Stand-Offs

Tekno RC is pleased to announce the availability of new shock towers and shock standoffs  that will improve the performance of your favorite vehicles! Please see below for more information on our most recent products.

TKR9268/9E - Shock Tower (split, front/rear, 7075 CNC, GM ano, EB/NB48 2.x)

Tekno RC is pleased to offer new split shock towers for the EB/NB48 2.x 1/8th scale buggies. These redesigned towers are lighter than the 2.1 stock towers and flex-tuned for better rough track handling. Throughout testing we found the car to be more forgiving, and easier to push for improved lap times. They are CNC machined from 7075 aluminum, gunmetal anodized, and are a direct replacement for TKR9268/9B or TKR9268/9D. No additional hardware is necessary.

Keep your Tekno RC vehicles running at peak performance with our new shock standoffs. Instead of the previously used M4 nut, these standoffs attach to the shock tower with an M4 screw for improved durability. Our tests have shown them to be significantly stronger and more likely to withstand a direct impact. These new standoffs are CNC machined from high-quality steel and have a keyed shaft that accommodates the TKR1103 - Turnbuckle Wrench for easy installation. They replace the TKR8727/B and require two M4x10 button head screws (TKR1443).

Note: We recommend cleaning the screw and female threads of the standoff before using threadlocker.
