Team Losi Racing has released a +4mm chassis primarily for dirt and a +7mm chassis primarily for carpet for the TLR 22 5.0.
First up is the +4mm chassis (TLR331064)
- New - The +4mm longer chassis will be smoother and less twitchy on entry, carry more mid-corner speed, and have more on power steering, but still have enough grip for clay surfaces.
- A Prototype of the +4mm chassis was used by Dakotah Phend to win the 2022 ROAR Dirt Nationals, along with several other races during the 2022 and 2023 race seasons. The +4mm chassis is the race teams’ choice for dirt and clay tracks.
- The chassis is CNC machine from 2.0mm 7075-T6 aluminum, milled for weight reduction and optimized flex characteristics, then hard anodized for wear resistance and protection.
- No other parts or modifications are required for this +4mm chassis to fit the 22 5.0 DC ELITE or 22 5.0 DC Roller.
Next on the option parts list is the +7mm chassis (TLR331066)
- New - This chassis is 7mm longer than the stock 22 5.0 chassis allowing the perfect length for carpet and astro turf surfaces to produce good consistent lap times. The +7mm longer chassis is very smooth on entry, great mid-corner rolling speed, and increased on power steering for surfaces with very high traction like carpet and astro.
- A Prototype of the +7mm chassis was used by Dakotah Phend to win the 2022 ROAR Carpet Nationals, along with several other races during the 2022 and 2023 race seasons. The +7mm chassis is the race teams’ choice for all carpet and Astro tracks.
- The chassis is CNC machine from 2.0mm 7075-T6 aluminum, milled for weight reduction and optimized flex characteristics, then hard anodized for wear resistance and protection.
- No other parts or modifications are required for this +7mm chassis to fit the 22 5.0 DC ELITE or 22 5.0 DC Roller.
