XRAY announced some interesting news today regarding the 2012 plans to NOT change several vehicles in their current lineup. While the select vehicles are said to not be changed, does this mean they could be replaced all together? Specifically with the release of the XB9 buggy, we were hoping to hear news of an XT9 truggy, however, as XRAY states below the XT8 will remain unchanged for 2012.
"XRAY would like to announce and confirm that there are no plans to change anything on the following existing model racing cars during the 2012 racing season:
- XRAY T3R - 1/10 electric touring car
- XRAY NT1R - 1/10 nitro touring car
- XRAY X10 - 1/10 electric pan car
- XRAY XT8 - 1/8 truggy
- XRAY 808E - 1/8 electric buggy"
Obviously this means no changes will be made to existing platforms, but the real question is, does this mean an all-new touring car, truggy, and electric 1/8 may or may not be in the works?
