XT8E Conversion.

With attention to the smallest details and a mandate to simplify servicing of the car, the all-new XT8 features cross-platform compatibility to ensure you can use the same car platform for both nitro and electric powered version making it either XT8 or XT8E. 

Using the XT8E conversion you can easily convert your XT8 into an XT8E in just few minutes.

Being responsible for R&D at the XRAY off-road division, I was actively involved in the XT8 project with the follow-up XT8 conversion that will allow you to swap your XT8 into XT8E. I can assure you that not even the smallest detail was overlooked.

Heritage.

I designed and hand-made my first off-road cars back in 1986, and they dominated the racing scene thanks to unbeatable reliability and superior performance. Years later in 2004, we started our first mass-production XRAY XB8 platform based on our long-term experience & knowledge, followed soon thereafter by the XT8 truggy platform. 

Since the release of the XT8 platform, we have continued our dedicated work of refining the platform to bring forth the latest improvements & innovations. With our focus on no-compromise performance, the XT8 has undergone a major platform upgrade to ensure the XT8 will stand out in the crowd and take you to the Winners Circle.

Team Development.

The XT8E is based on the ultra-successful XT8 which was developed with vast input and dedicated work by the entire racing team, with major influences and significant improvements incorporated by World Champion Ty Tessmann. 

All the incorporated refinements on the XT8 were tested in “blood, sweat, and tears” in North America at various tracks…from fast packaged tracks, through destroyed bumpy tracks, to huge super-jump tracks… to ensure the XT8 would be the one to beat anywhere. The final result is an amazing, completely all-new XT8 & XT8E platform. Enjoy!

Designed in virtual reality using the world's most sophisticated CAD system, manufactured using the world's best machining & molding machinery, the XT8E achieves a level of perfection in all details that is second to none.

Choice of World Champions.

The XT8 & XT8E are built to the same standards of excellence that you would expect from all other XRAY platforms. It is one of the most responsive trucks that I have ever driven, and I simply love it. The XT8 has the agility of an 1/8 buggy but the stability of a truggy, acceleration is outstanding, and the drivetrain is extremely smooth and free.
