With the recent release of the Tekno RC ET410 1/10-scale 4wd truggy, conversation and interest in a 1/10-scale 4wd truck class has been circling the industry. While browsing the 22 Empire Facebook Group (a public group dedicated to TLR and Losi), we stumbled upon this - a 22-4 4wd buggy converted to a stadium truck.

The owner of this unique TLR vehicle is Mark Vyne. Mark shared photos of the truck with the caption of, "For those who want to show the ET410 guys what TLR can do. This is going to be fun. Conversion kit info coming soon."

We spoke to Mark about his 4wd stadium truck creation and he credits his brother, Bobby Vyne, for the intial idea and first built. Mark is working on an instruction manual for others who wish to convert their 22-4 4wd buggy to compete with the ET410, as well as potential option parts, base setup sheet, and more.

The electric 1/8 scale buggy class was born when a few lone rangers in the industry began making their own "home-made" conversion kits for nitro buggies on the market. That grew to aftermarket companies creating conversion kits, which has led to nearly every 1/8 buggy manufacturer offering their own complete nitro and electric buggy kits. With nearly every major 1/10-scale off-road manufacturer already offering a stadium truck and a 4wd buggy, could we potentially see the two combine and the 1/10-scale 4wd truck class (either stadium truck or truggy) form as we saw with 1/8 electric buggy?
