Infinity has released both titanium and aluminium screw sets for their IF18 to reduce the weight of its World Championship winning chassis. In the titanium range, the screw sets are offered to cover both the upper and lower sections of the car. The 111 piece Upper set saves 18g compared with the standard kit steel screws while the 47 piece Lower set brings a weight saving of 12 grams. Use of the titanium screws will slightly increase chassis flexibility allowing fine tuning of the car setup for any conditions. In Aluminium, two Upper sets are offered. Available in black or red colours, the 111 screws will save over 30 grams and offer a mild driving characteristic by increasing chassis flex in a well balanced manner.
