Event: 2012 Summer Nitro Shootout
Nine year old Nathan Empie (aka Nasty Nate) has shown great potential by securing the win in 1/8th E Buggy and taking two second places in both Open SC and 4x4 SC at the recent Summer Nitro Shoot Out held at Addiction RC, located in Ogden UT USA. In the Open Short course class, Team Associated driver Rob Gillispie took home TQ and 1st place.
In second place 9 year old Nathan Empie (aka Nasty Nate) put down a solid run with his Team C Racing short course. 3rd place went to 15 year old Cooper Hurt and his Losi XXX SCT. 4x4 Short Course saw Aaron Williams secure 1st place with Nasty Nate taking 2nd and the TQ with Joe Doak completing the podium. In the E Truggy class 1st place and TQ went to Chris Carr with 2nd secured by Justin Rowell with Marvin Flores completing the podium with his Team C T8Te. Once again Rob Gillispie takes TQ and 1st place, this time in 2wd Mod Buggy with his Team Associated. In 2nd Beazer Martin and 3rd place Aaron Williams both driving Team C Evo buggies.
Nasty Nate secured 1st place in E Buggy with his Team C T8E buggy. TQ and 2nd place went to Chris Carr and 3rd to Eric Snell. The main event, the 1/8th nitro buggy saw Marvin Flores take home 1st place with his Team C T8 with 2nd place going to was Beazer Martin also running a Team C T8 buggy. TQ and 3rd place went to Justin Rowell running a RC8.2 buggy.
