The most durable and robust ESC on the market just got better. Novak is pleased to introduce the Activ8 Racing Brushless ESC (#1725) with Super-Tuner™! All the great hardware from the Activ8's proven design has been retained, but Novak has added the easiest to use and most adjustable on board programming firmware available – Super-Tuner. Novak-developed Super-Tuner firmware is also used in the Impact Racing and Pulse Racing ESCs, and now with the Activ8 featuring this robust firmware, it completes Novak’s high-end racing line up.
What is Super-Tuner?
Novak Super-Tuner is very simply put, an intuitive on-board programming system that allows more adjustability and tuning options than any other on-board programmable ESC on the market. No extra tuning boxes, laptops, or cables are needed to unlock the full programming features. Super Tuner has five completely adjustable and savable profiles that default to general settings that are suited to each type of racing— from non-timing specclass racing to Dynamic Timing Advance setups.
With the new Super-Tuner interface update, Novak’s Activ8 has enhanced programming options, including finer control over the ESC’s timing level, and a wider selection of start and final RPMs. For insane speeds, the Activ8 also includes Novak’s new Xtra Timing™ in 2S applications. This all-new algorithm controls the secondlevel timing that is applied “on top of” the Dynamic Timing Advance when the exact conditions have been met. This feature is for experts only!
The Acitv8, now with Super-Tuner, has no shortage of features and is ready for any power-hungry 2S to 4S application. If you need an ESC that is beastly enough for your maniac driving style and heavy throttle finger, the Activ8 is what you have been waiting for!
