The 2012 Pro-Line Cactus Classic, hosted by Scottsdale R/C Speedway and HobbyTown USA, marked the 26th running of this legendary event. Drivers from all over the globe converged onto this “holy ground” of American electric off-road racing heritage. Canada, Australia, England, Sweden and dozens of states from America make the trek each year to participate in what has become one of the premier off-road events in the United States.

Novak has supported the event many times over the years, and returned once again with on-site support for any Novak-powered racers by providing motor-tuning tips, soldering assistance, or even a cool beverage! Adam Crippen, who recently took over the reigns of the “SRS” Facility, has a brand new HobbyTown USA on-site as well. The top-notch facility is stocked to the gills with anything a racer or hobbyist might need. From cutting-edge Novak racing electronics, to basic modeler tools and supplies, HobbyTown USA has what you’re looking for!

This year was a huge success as the Havoc Pro SC and GTB2 , both equipped with Novak’s exclusive X-Drive, powered multiple top-qualifying efforts, fast round times, and most of the fastest drivers in the Spec divisions. We cannot thank our team drivers and racing customers enough for their support and hard work. While power and consistency from your electronics is crucial, a great driver is also needed.
