On July 22nd 2020 we kick off the long awaited return of this historic event the Canadian International Championships! After taking a 4 year absents we are back with a brand new venue that is even bigger and better then the SAR facility that served us so well for so many years!

In 2020 we are proud to announce that the host for the CIC 2k20 will be Electro Sport RC right here in Ottawa Ontario Canada where the CIC began. The new facility is a freshly renovated indoor polo arena! The CIC track layout will be designed by the CIC Production crew and will be 140 feet by 60 feet in dimension. The track owner has spared no expense in making Electro Sport RC a world class facility right out of the gate … bringing in 50 full dump truck loads of 100% pure blue river clay for the track, completely renovating the pit area, providing camping areas for about 100 campers, parking area for an easy 200, Brand new 12 foot high drivers stand to give you the perfect view of the track … and the best part, no more poles in the track … completely free standing building!

But wait! That is not all that going on that’s new … We have reduced the number of classes to increase your track time and decrease those long nights at the track, no more racing at 2am!!! We will be racing 2wd and 4wd modified buggy classes, 2wd and 4wd Stock Buggy Classes and Modified Stadium Truck!

Just to keep it interesting the 2wd and 4wd Modified Classes … Combined points for 1 overall CIC Modified Champion and we are doing the same for 2wd and 4wd Stock classes … again Combined points for 1 overall CIC Stock Champion

Legends of CIC Invitational ….
This race is where the big boys play …. Reedy Race Invitational Format 6 heads up racing in both 2wd modified and 4wd modified.
Who can run? Any past top 3 finishers of buggy classes from the CIC, Any driver who has made the top 10 at any ROAR, IFMAR, EFRA, EOS or BRCA sanctioned event.

No alteration of tire or inserts (natural tire wear only)

Stock Buggy classes be prepared …. FULL Tech inspections, weight, battery temp, battery voltage,(ROAR approved motors, ESCs and batteries ONLY)

Full Dinner Banquet Saturday evening during the raffle prizes and door prize give away, camping on site, washroom, water and firewood available.
