RC Tracks of Las Vegas hosted the annual Sidewinder Nitro Explosion this past weekend, which wrapped up Sunday afternoon with the completion of the Pro Buggy final. Top qualifier Cole Ogden swapped the top spot with Vegas local Kyle Johnson and former world champion Greg Degani in the opening laps. Degani dropped off after a few minutes and Ogden’s Mugen teammate Adam Drake moved to the third spot, then was promoted to second when Johnson’s body mount fell off before the halfway point as Richard Saxton moved up to third. Drake ran into issues with less than ten minutes to go, and Johnson raced his way back into the mix with Saxton but settled for the final podium spot.
