Olly Jeffries takes the win at the Chippenham Winter Indoor Series

 

Chippenham Winter Indoor Series attracted 130 drivers to rounds 3 & 4 which took place over the weekend, quite an achievement given two other major touring car series had rounds on the same day.

In the 13.5 class Olly Jefferies took TQ with a dominating performance being fastest in all qualifying rounds with his TC6.1. Joining Olly in the A final were CML / AE team mates Kyle Gardener and Chris Gunter, Kyle lining up fourth on the grid and Chris eighth.

CWIS gives each driver final points towards the championship, so this in effect was round three and four. Olly took the victory at rounds one and two and added round three and four to his tally with two buzzer to checkered flag victories. Kyle drove two solid finals as well to make it third and two TC6.1's on the podium. Chris Gunter got a sixth and an eighth capping a good day for the team.

Olly hopes to join his team mates for the next Chipppenham round in December, also on his calendar will be the next round of the EWS series where he will be joined by team mate Alan Bickerstaff.
