Panther Tires takes the win at the Circle City Championship Series

 

JCP-RC Indoor held their 6th and final round of the Circle City Electric Off-road Championship Series this past Saturday the 3rd of November. With over 90+ electric entries heats were full and plentiful. The 6 round series consisted of 3 very different tracks, DK Raceway (outdoors), E-Squared Raceway (outdoors) and JCP (indoor). Each track was to hold 2 races each and each has very different surfaces and demands from the other, demanding the racers to be well versed in setup and driving ability.

Panther Tires Jubal Dike came into the final round with a slim 4 point lead in the 2wd Mod Buggy class. Jubal would qualify 2nd in the A- main. Jubal drove a very conservative race in the main, making sure to finish, and wound up on the podium in 3rd place. This solidly gave me him the overall points championship in the class!


Jubal chose these Panthrer tires at each venue:

DK Raceway – Soft Puma with 3/4 st open cell foam, Soft Lynx 2 with open cell foam
JCP – Clay or Super Soft Rattler 2.0 or Switch 2.0 depending on track conditions with ST open cell 3/4 foam. Bobcat front with standard open cell foam.
E-Squared -this track was retro 90′s style. Very loamy, sandy and “whoopy”. Soft or Super Soft Tiger or Puma with standard open cell foam. Lynx2 Super Soft with open cell foam.
