The 2018 Northwest Stock Championships were held this past weekend at PDX RC Underground in Portland, Oregon. Yokomo USA Team Manager Joe Pillars would attend this inaugural event, along with Yokomo USA Team Drivers Wes Cipriotti, Mo Hille, and Kevin Focht.

Race Schedule:
Friday, May 4th: Open Practice
Saturday, May 5th: 3 Rounds of Qualifying / Triple A-Main Events

2wd Pro Stock Buggy

In the 2wd Pro Stock Buggy class, Yokomo's Joe Pillars would dominate qualifying by TQ'ing all 3 rounds and secure the overall TQ! Pillars then went onto take the commanding Wins in A-Main #1 and A-Main #2, to take his first Championship of the weekend with his Muchmore powered YZ-2 CA L2! Yokomo USA's newest Team Driver Wes Cipriotti drove great to finish 3rd overall in his debut race! Yokomo's Mo Hille finished an impressive 2nd in A-Main #3 to take 5th overall!

2wd Pro Stock Buggy Top 3 Overall:

1st Joe Pillars (TQ) Yokomo YZ-2 CA L2
2nd Jack Leighan AE
3rd Wes Cipriotti Yokomo YZ-2 CA L2

13.5 4wd Buggy

In the 13.5 4wd Buggy class, Yokomo's Joe Pillars was once again on another level in qualifying and went onto TQ all 3 rounds! JP then drove flawless in A-Main #1 and A-Main #2 with his Muchmore powered YZ-4 SF to take home his second Championship of the weekend and complete the perfect sweep! Yokomo's Mo Hille finished off a great weekend with a top 3 finish with his YZ-4 SF!
