Last week we saw the video of Ty Tessmann hitting the local skate park showing off the new Pro-Line "Striker" SC tires, and this week they have officially announced their release.
The new Striker SC features Pro-Line’s innovative Pro-Core Technology that eliminates foam inserts inside the tire and uses rubber ribbing instead to provide the ideal amount of tire flex. This means that you no longer have to worry about your foam insert breaking down! Pro-Line's Striker tread pattern is designed for rally racing on the street or hard packed dirt.
The big question here is whether or not the Pro-Core technology will be applied to other competition tires? Could this be the beginning of a foamless era in R/C car racing?
