PROTOform Race Report:
This past weekend saw the running of the CRC New Years Dash, one of the nations largest and longest running oval r/c events. PROTOform was proud to sponsor the event’s fastest class, Pro-Stock 10.5. PROTOform made the trip down the NY Thruway for this unique race, which is held inside a vintage, yet pristine old theatre in downtown Oneida, NY.
With over 230 entries, the event showcased some of the best drivers Oval has to offer. Dale Epp from PROTOform was in attendance at the race, showing off a yet-to-be-released new oval racing body, the PROTOform Gen3-D.
The event featured great food (including deep fried oreos!), the racing was fast and close, and the atmosphere was fun and upbeat. A Big kudos to Frank Calandra and his team, as there was no doubt a lot of good planning and hard work involved. For more in-depth coverage of the race, visit
