Race Report from HB Racing:

This past weekend at the Badlands RC in Myrtle Beach South Carolina. 400 racers would show up to do battle. The weather was excellent. The competition was fierce. HB Racing driver Cole Ogden would show early on, he was the driver to beat in Pro Buggy and Truggy. Having tq'd the first two rounds of qualifying. Cole would Start 1st in both main events. In Truggy he would never falter the lead and win uncontested. After the main Cole was asked what he thought of his D817T. His reply was "My Truggy was so dialed it was effortless to drive."

Next in Buggy. At the start. He would pull away from the rest of the field. At the 1/3rd mark of the main. He would have a random flame out. After he was restarted. Cole was a lap down. He put his head down and clicked off fast lap after fast lap. With under 2 minutes to go. He would regain the lead and finish on top. After the race. Cole said "my car couldn't have been any better".

Cole wasn't the only one to come out on top for HB Racing. In the +40 class. HB Racing driver Chad Phillips would win respectively. After having some bad luck in qualifying. Phillips would start 3rd. At the start of main. Phillips would get the lead on the second lap and never look back.

In the 15 and under class. Cooper Phillips would show he was the driver to beat after qualifying. He would start 1st for the main. At the start of the main event. Cooper would have a rough lap and end up last. Putting his head down he would work his way through the field. Eventually getting the lead back. After a couple bad laps. He would find himself digging deep and coming from behind. Cooper would end up 2nd at the end of the main.

We are proud of our HB Racing drivers and can't wait to see what the future holds.
