In 3rd Qualify round of Nitro Buggy class, he set an excellent round of 13 laps 7:06.901 while 2nd fastest qualified car in 13 laps 7:22.074.

In Nitro Buggy A-Main final, Jonathan started at pole position but the start was not as smooth as expected. The loudspeakers along the starting grid were not working such that mechanic on the starting grid cannot hear the voice from race announcer. This cause the trouble in 10sec count down and results in delayed start of Jonathan's car. This added drama to the whole race as Jonathan have to get back to the front car-by-car. In about 6min, Jonathan came back to first place but this is not the end of the drama. He had several car flip incidents but unluckily every time happened on unaware marshal and each time cost more than 15sec. For this reason 1st and 2nd cars swapping leading position several time. Thanks for fuel mileage advantage, Jonathan need 1 less refuel to the 2nd fast car in 45min race. This helped him to secure his 2nd straight win in M.K. Power off-road Championship nitro buggy class.
