2018 Arrowmax Cup round 5 was held at SYE track in Shanghai last weekend. Due to the weather the race was one day earlier than planned. So not many racers joined but still the race was super competitive.
After 3 rounds of qualifying Awesomatix driver Simon Wang took the TQ. Serpent driver Kenny Yan started 2nd in mains. In the modified class Xray driver Nicolas Koh took the TQ and local driver Lin got 2nd.
After 3 rounds of finals Simon Wang took the win from the pole position. Another serpent driver Minjie took 2nd and Kenny Yan took 3rd place just 0.2s faster than 4th place. In modified class Nicolas took the win and Lin got 2nd place. Young local driver Dai Shuxia took 3rd place.
