The first round of qualifying is now complete with Maifield taking the Pro Truggy TQ and Ty Tessmann taking the TQ in Pro Ebuggy.

Pro Truggy:

Ryan Maifield (1st): Maifield would finish 1st four tenths of a second up on Tessmann. Maifield commented on having a bit of trouble with traffic but overall lhe didn't make any mistakes except casing the back double. When asked about setup changes Ryan talked about a small link change but that was about it.

Ty Tessmann (2nd): Tessmann finished less than a second back in 2nd. His major comment was on how cold it was driving on the driver stand, he also mentioned the bumps being in all new places today. He mentioned he will wait to see if it rains before making changes.

Marco Baruffolo (3rd): Baruffolo would finish about a second back from the leaders in 3rd. The top placing european driver would comment that his run was good but he kept bouncing off the landing on the right side triple and needed to change his line. He doesnt plan on making any further changes.

Adam Drake (4th): Drake would finish 4th a little over a second behind Baruffolo. Adam commented that his run was really conservative and he was afraid it was slow but his pace ended up being really good. When asked about changes he said he would likely go down in shock oil and maybe add a little weight to the rear of the truck.

Ryan Cavalieri (5th): Cavalieri would finish a pretty quiet 5th with his new Sworkz truck. After a couple of small bobbles and mistakes with traffic he was still happy to put in a clean run with no marshals. He said he wanted to see what the track did before making changes.

Tanner Stees (6th): Tanner Stees had little to say coming from the "B" heat. What he did say is that he was just managing traffic, it was really cold, and he probably wasn't going to make any changes.

Pro Ebuggy:

Ty Tessmann (1st): Tessmann would rebound after some issues in truggy to take the round one TQ in ebuggy commenting that it was much calmer than his truggy run.

Adam Drake (2nd): Drake would finish 2nd from the "B" heat commenting that he didn't have any crashes, and he jumped the triple every lap. He said the only change he might make is a slightly softer tire.

Davide Ongaro (3rd): Davide commented that he made two small mistakes, but didn't need to be marshaled. He said that the track was definitely worse than yesterday as far as ruts go.

Jared Tebo (4th): Tebo finished 4th saying that he just wanted a clean run after an on track incident with Tessmann in truck Jared wants to make some sort of shock change but he is not sure what.

Maifield (5th): Maifield would salvage a 5th after a couple of bobbles and a crash. He explained that he plans to make further shock changes and is hoping the wind dies down.

Joe Bornhorst (6th): Bornhorst complained that his handsd were going numb and the conditions were pretty brutal. He plans to go softer on oil but was happy with a marshal free run with few mistakes.
