Friday racing has started with Davide Ongaro taking top qualifier in round one nitro buggy in extremely dominating fashion. Ryan Maifield would finish 2nd from the "B" qualifier and David Ronnefalk would finish 3rd about a second behind Maifield.

Pro Buggy:

Davide Ongaro (1st): In our live interview Ongaro mentioned that his car was pretty easy to drive considering the conditions. He plans to consider a tread or compound change but nothing else for round 2.

Ryan Maifield (2nd): Maifield commented that even with his bobble he would've finished 2nd, but overall he thought his run was pretty good. He plans to make some changes with his new MIP shock package for the second round.

David Ronnefalk (3rd): When asked about his run, Ronnefalk said he wanted to make some changes. He said he did have a marshal and some further crashes and needed to clean that up, but his fast lap was the same as Ongaro's.

Elliott Boots (4th): A safe run is what Boots was looking for and was happy to achieve his goal. Despite that, Boots and mechanic Craddock are making extensive setup changes to match a setup that he ran on similar track conditions in the UK.

Robert Batlle Sanchez (5th): Robert had good pace, but a marshal and two further bobbles would hault his progress towards a higher finish. With that being only two seconds off his teammate, Maifield, Batlle has easy room for improvement.

Ty Tessmann (6th): Seeding in the lowest heat, Tessmann would have trouble with a crashing car, but despite that would be able to finish in the top 6. He was in the race that received water for the round so likely will not have to run on another wet track. He did say that they were searching for a little bit more pace.
