The 2019 Japanese 1/10 Off-Road Nationals were held this past weekend at RC Park GOJO, located just a 1-hour drive south from Osaka. Yokomo would arrive at this years Nationals with a stacked Team including its newest arrival; Yusuke Sugiura. Yokomo's lead track engineer; Shin Adachi was also on-hand to provide top notch race support to all Yokomo drivers and customers in attendance.
 
This would also be the debut race for Yokomo's YZ-2 DTM3 2wd Buggy.

2wd Modified Buggy

In the 2wd Modified Buggy class, Yokomo's Yusuke Sugiura would set the pace early as he took the overall TQ honors after all 4 rounds of qualifying were complete!

Sugiura then went onto take the big Wins in A-Main #1 & A-Main #3, to take home the 2wd Modified Buggy National Championship with his Muchmore powered YZ-2 DTM3 in its debut! 

Yokomo's young talent; Kaito Kodera put in great drives during the A-Mains to finish on the podium in 3rd with his YZ-2 DTM3!

4wd Modified Buggy

In the 4wd Modified Buggy class, Yokomo's Kaito Kodera put in a great performance during qualifying to take the overall TQ! 

Sugiura starting from the #2 grid spot, then went onto take the impressive Wins in A-Main #1 & A-Main #2, and take his 2nd National Championship of the weekend with his Muchmore powered YZ-4 SF! This would be the first time in history that Yusuke Sugiura would Win both National Championships in the same year!

Kaito Kodera would finish off a great weekend by taking the TQ and finishing on the podium once again with his YZ-4 SF!
