Race Report by Nejc Mihelic
This past weekend the third round of the Austrian 1/8 IC championship took place at the beautiful and very technical LAMAC track. Due to bad weather prediction on Sunday, all 4 qualies were run on Saturday. At the free practice it was Nejc Mihelic who set the early pace and after 4 rounds of qualifying it was Nejc taking the TQ in front of Herfried Pucher and Michael Holler.
Sunday was rainy as predicted, so the race was interrupted just when the main finals started. Final results were taken from qualifications, making Nejc Mihelic (Xray, Reds, TopRC) Austrian champion with 3 wins in a row. One more round is following in September at the Sollenau track.
