From Mike Truhe (via Facebook):
Former 1/10-scale 2WD Modified and 1/8-scale ROAR National Champion Mike Truhe returned to nitro on-road racing for the first time in over a decade this last weekend, joining his Serpent teammates at the Greater Los Angeles RC Racing Club for last weekend's Novarossi Challenge. And it went pretty well.
Mike posted this photo to Twitter last week, showing that both he and his pit area were happy to be back on the asphalt.
After 45 minutes of racing in the final, Mike crossed the line ahead of a field of on-road regulars with his Novarossi-powered Serpent 977WC with Matrix tires.
The weekend was far from an easy one, however - just look at the body on Mike's car. He took at least a couple of hard shots into the boards!
