Racing
Each heat race will be 5 minutes, and with the up and down of the drivers, checking in of the cars, and the marshals getting on the track, it will likely be 7-8 minutes for each race (even less when things are really rolling).
Marshaling to be European style: Racers will marshal the 2nd race after theirs (if you are in race 4 you will marshal race 6) This is the most efficient, and least stressful way to keep things flowing, plus you get to go back to your pit, put your battery on charge, grab a drink, etc...
With a cap of 250 entries, (additional to fill heats) there should be no more than 28 heats, which should take between 3:15 - 3:45 hours per round, and we’ll have roughly 7-7 1/2 hours of racing on Saturday. With a 9am start time for racing we should be able to get the first 2 rounds of qualifying done by 5pm Saturday. Followed by Horizon and Pro-Line Seminars and Pizza Party.
Sunday which will include a Prize Session, Dash for Cash, and Extended Mains, should take roughly 9 hours of racing. With a 8am start time we should be doing finals awards by 5-5:30pm Sunday night. (C-Main and lower awards and photos will be done immediately after each main race, so winners won’t have to wait.)
