AMain Hobbies is pleased to announce the signing of Tom Rinderknecht to a contract as a member of its ProTek RC Pro Race Team. Despite being just 22 years of age, Rinderknecht brings a wealth of pro level RC experience in both 1:10 dirt and carpet off-road racing and is a highly respected competitor in the pits and on the track.

Rinderknecht broke onto the national scene in 2020 when he won the International Reedy Race of Champions Open 4wd crown. In 2022, the Ankney, Iowa native won the 2wd Mod Buggy title at the CRCRC Midwest Electric Championships. This past season, Rinderknecht showed his prowess on both dirt and carpet, winning the JConcepts INS Series Championship in 4wd Mod Buggy and finishing second in the overall points in 2wd Mod Buggy.

“Tom Rinderknecht is a terrific addition to our ProTek RC Pro Team,” states ProTek RC Proprietary Product Specialist and Team Manager Chad Bradley. “Tom is only 22 years of age, but he already has a wealth of racing experience and tremendous product knowledge that will help us continue our development and support of the highest performance racing products in the industry. He is well respected amongst his racing peers and will be a great representative of our ProTek RC product line.”

Rinderknecht has moved to the Schumacher platform this season and will run ProTek RC servos and batteries as well as various ProTek RC tools and accessories in his 1:10 off-road race program. He also will be supporting his program with Cayote electronics, JConcepts tires/wheels, bodies, and accessories as well as products from Cheater Racing, Donathan RC, and Ty Tech.

“I am really excited to join AMain Hobbies and the ProTek RC race team. ProTek RC has been a proven winner for the past several years and the commitment AMain Hobbies provides to the RC racing community is second to none and an honor to be a part of. I am looking forward to incorporating the ProTek RC product line into my race program,” states Rinderknecht, who boasts Island Speedway (Muscatine, IA), Hobby Haven (Urbandale, IA), and Hobbytown HobbyPlex (Omaha, NE) as his home tracks.
