ROAR Nationals Body Rules

The latest confusion and stir regarding the upcoming ROAR 1/8 Nationals seems to be the statement made by ROAR last week:

"ROAR has been receiving many questions related to updates to the body rules for fuel off-road racing. Already announced earlier this year, but for clarification as the Fuel Off-Road Nationals approaches, there will be no changes to the body rules this year. The body rules will not be reviewed until the 2012 season."

The big question is, WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?

In 2010 ROAR did not allow the "cab-forward" style bodies, HOWEVER, the rule was never officially put into the rulebook. Which this means that the "cab-forward" bodies WILL be allowed at this year's ROAR 1/8 Nationals.

We have in fact confirmed this with ROAR Officials, and for those of you attending with "cab-forward" bodies...have no fear!
