Thursday here at the ROAR 1/8th scale off-road nationals had two rounds of seeding practice in store after Wednesday's open practice. Rain delays, dust, and fickle track conditions are throwing curve balls at attendees, but the usual suspects have found their way to the top. With the first round of seeding being the overall faster run, drivers had an up hill battle to try to improve in round two and very few were able to do it.
Buggy:
In Buggy, Ryan Maifield would take the top seed from Spencer Rivkin, and surprise 3rd seed Spencer Heckert. 9 of the top 12 would rely on first round runs to seed them into qualifying.
Truggy:
Truggy would see Ty Tessmann top seed over Maifield by almost a second with Ryan Lutz seeding third. 11 of the top 12 would have a faster first round run.
