JConcepts had a new short course body painted by Larry Genova’s Kustom R/C Graphics and rushed from Florida to Phoenix for Spencer Rivkin to debut this weekend. The latest creation from the Florida-based design studio instantly showed its on-track mettle, as Rivkin set the fastest time in the opening round of qualifying on his way to qualifying third overall.
Called the HF2, as in the second-generation of JConcepts’ five-time National Championship-winning Hi-Flow body, the new shell incorporates styling cues from the Finnisher lineup with a lower stance and edgy fender styling. The bed area was configured for improved air flow, helping to ensure level flight. Jason Ruona explained that the HF2 will be available in September, and will include Champion rear name plates, decals, and fasteners.
