ROAR NATS: Maifield capped off Truck qualifying with another TQ run [VIDEO]

Ryan Maifield stamped his authority on the Truck class by setting the fastest time in the final round, the third time in four tries, and left no doubt that his Mugen Seiki MBX7TR with REDS Racing engines and JConcepts tires will be the truck to beat in tomorrow's final. For the Truck class, 12 trucks are locked into the main event and will be joined by two bump-ups from the B-Main, continuing on down through traditional Alphabet lower finals.

"You know the track is gnarly when the track is gnarly," said Ryan Maifield, commenting on how difficult the track surface and ruts have become - and how difficult the track will be for the final. Spencer Rivkin was a bit more positive about it, saying that the challenging track is a lot of fun and hoping that he'll be able to hold it together for the final. Ty Tessmann was calm and collected about his chances to beat Maifield - and re-establish a tie for the record number of wins.
