ROAR Now Accepting Requests for 2019 IFMAR 1/8 IC Track World Championship Alternate Spots

Invitation letters are being e-mailed to the address on the ROAR membership records for those drivers who have qualified for a spot on the ROAR team for the 2019 IFMAR 1/8 IC Track World Championship being held at Steel City RC Speedway. Invitations for qualified racers are based on participation in the 2018 ROAR Fuel Onroad Nationals and the 2017 IFMAR 1/8 IC Track Worlds events (A Main participants). ROAR anticipates ultimately being allocated more spots by IFMAR for this event than the number of qualified ROAR racers.  

To be added to the alternate list to fill these additional spots, send a brief resume containing years of experience, major events you have participated in 1/8 Open Fuel Onroad and your results. Include your name, address, phone, e-mail, ROAR number, and expiration date in your resume.  Please send this information via email to: Administrator@ROARracing.com using FONTANA WORLDS ALTERNATE REQUEST in the subject line of the email.

If your qualifications are accepted, you will be sent an Alternate Invitation once we know how many total spots we are allocated by ROAR. However; we anticipate that demand will be greater than the number of spots we are allocated. In determining those who receive Alternate Invitations; priority will be given to those with recent experience in A Mains at relevant ROAR Nationals and / or IFMAR Worlds. If we ultimately receive more responses than available spots, openings will be filled based on the date we receive the completed Alternate Invitation form and payment. Paid Alternate Invitations above the number of spots allocated to ROAR will be placed on a wait list.

Entry fee is $400. Once you are notified that your entry has been accepted, there will be a $100 cancellation fee for those who withdraw from the event. Those who withdraw prior to having their entry confirmed or who are on the wait list and not ultimately selected will receive a full refund.
