LRP Race Report:
The competitors have a rough ride not only in Europe. Ronald also is hard to defeat in Asia. He wins the prestigious onroad race with LRP power against well-known rivals.
The Yatabe Arena in Japan was host of the Asian Onroad and Offroad Championships. Many of the international top drivers were attending. In TC competition e.g. Ronald Völker, Marc Rheinard, World Champion Jilles Groskamp, Juho Levanen & Loic Jasmin.
LRP team driver Ronald Völker continued where he had finished in his last race in Europe. Similar to his victory at the ETS season opener in Mülheim-Kärlich, Germany, Ronald impressed with an outstanding performance over the whole weekend. LRP’s top driver dominated qualification ahead of his Yokomo teammate Naoto Matsukura and multiple World Champion Marc Rheinard.
It was just the same in the final. Ronald’s car – equipped with LRP Flow WorksTeam, LRP Vector X20 Modified 4.5T and LRP LiPo Competition Car Line 6900 battery – proved to be unbeatable. Ronald Völker won A-main 1 & 2 in style and celebrated an early triumph. By winning A-main 3, Naoto completed Yokomo’s double victory. Marc Rheinard finished third overall.
A great performance of Germany’s top driver! He was able to show his potential also in Asia. Ronald dominated from practice to the finals – the event couldn’t have gone better. The reliability and power of LRP Flow WorksTeam and LRP Vector X20 paid off again. Their performance gave another impressive proof of the potential of the “Blue is Better” competition equipment.
Yuusuke Sugiura won both the 2WD and 4WD offroad competitions. He took TQ in both classes and defended his position also in the finals to take both titles. In 2WD, he finished ahead of Keisuke Enomoto and Masatsugu Ido. In 4WD, he outperformed Meen Vejrak and Keisuke Enomoto.
