Last weekend the French Cup took place in Nantes in northern France. Eighty drivers were in attendance racing 2WD, 4WD, and SC, to do battle on a dusty and medium-bite dirt track for the last competition of the year on clay.
Driving a Reedy powered Team Associated SC10.2, Team CML/AE driver Sebastien Mure took an excellent pole position in challenging conditions, with another SC10 driver, Philippe Hautecoeur, in second. Each driver took 3 TQ’s but the faster times went to Sebastien.
After a difficult start in the A1 final with victory for Philippe, Seb took the 2nd and 3rd final legs with the fastest time of the day to seal his first Short Course National win. Joining Seb on the podium in second place was Philippe Hautecoeur, with another SC10.2. A great result for Team Associated.
