Serpent has been on a roll this week releasing Team Edition kits for everything from touring cars to offroad buggies. Today they have announced the all-new V2 Team Edition 966 1/8 scale platform.

The Serpent 966 TE receives a small but important update to be ready for the 2012 season.
Included in the new V2 version are:
- Serpent True Motion Centax clutch
- Serpent RCM shock-absorbers ( with membrame)
The Team Editon already had following key features:
- SL8 gearbox included, for lower inertia
- front aero bumper- split-type carbon radioplate with flex-control, and front stiffner/support
- new front upper geometry with inner pivots more out and shorter upper arms, for more corner entry grip and more corner speed
- new rear upper geometry with new camber-bracket, and upper camber-rods instead wishbone
- rear lower shockmounts/extenders in carbon, for new shock-angle
- new style tank-top/tank-cap ( same as S811 )
