Tekin powered Shay Brand attended Round 1 of the Southern Offroad Series. This is a new series starting up this year with the first round being held at Dalton RC Raceway. With a total of 137 entries, it looks as if it is going to be a great series with a bunch of fast competition.
In Pro E-Buggy, Shay Brand was able to get the TQ overall after winning each round of qualifying. In the main it was a close battle at the start but Shay was able to separate himself from the pack and come away with the win with around a 25 second lead over second place.
