702 Raceway Race Report:
The 2012 Shortcourse Showdown Nationwide Tour made stop #6 in Las Vegas, Nevada at 702 Raceway. The big winner of the weekend was none other that Brian Kinwald, taking the TQ and win in Modified SC and win in 4×4 SC, giving Kinwald the Double Down Victory.
The 4×4 SC A-Main was the one to watch, it was a battle right from the tone between TQ Billy Fisher and Scott Brown. Fisher and Brown were nose to tail throughout the entire race. Brian Kinwald was running in the 3rd spot keeping a good pace and stayed within striking distance to the lead battle. With under 2mins to go Fisher and Brown tangled onto the front straight which allowed Kinwald to get by for the top spot. Kinwald managed to hang on and take the win. Kinwald 23/7:03.4, Fisher 23/7:04.5, Brown 23/7:04.9 what an exciting finish it was and the packed crowd was going crazy!
