It isn't uncommon to see off-road R/C tracks made of dirt, carpet, or artifical turf, however, it appears their may be a new track surface on the market. Sic Surface, an Australian company, has developed a product that is a weatherproof and hard wearing poly aggregate coating for road base, decomposed granite, and suitable compactable fill. Sic Surface has been developed and tested over 5 years on the Sleeman Sports Complex. It has also been used on the Nerang BMX Track and other tracks of the like.
Sic Surface has now ventured into the R/C world with their first ever indoor R/C track build at Lap Addict RC in NSW Australia.
Check out their track build in the photos below, and learn more by visiting Sic Surface on Facebook, or by going to www.sicsurface.com.
