Through the ups and downs of electric off-road, the CRCRC Midwest Winter Champs has marched on, just as popular as ever. And now that we, as a racing community, are back into electric off-road more than ever, there is no better time to experience one of the most well-known races in North America.
Held every winter in various locations in Ohio, the "Winter Champs," or "CRCRC Race," (depending on whichever regional R/C lexicon you subscribe to) now has a permanent home at the Ohio R/C Factory in Jeffersonville, Ohio. The facility, which has played host to the event for the last two years, features a massive indoor dirt track capable of both electric and nitro racing, as well as pit space that continues on and on as far as the eye can see.
Every year all of the best drivers in the Midwest can be seen in attendance, as well as a large majority of factory pros from the West Coast. Bring your parka, though. A hefty dose of winter always seems to show up at the race as well.
Look for the CRCRC Midwest Winter Championships on LiveRC next January!
