New AKA tires coming soon?

AKA Products posted a graphic to Facebook and Instagram talking about the upcoming winter indoor racing season - and the list of stylized tire names includes at least two new pattern names not yet on the market: Sabre and Stiletto. The caption referencing a wide assortment of tread patterns and compounds seems to reinforce that there's something new coming soon.

Neither pattern is currently listed on the AKA website, nor have they ever been part of the brand's product line. According to the Instagram time stamp, the image was posted around 8 PM CET — and as of the time this article was published, the image had received 121 likes but no comments. On Facebook, the same image has generated 91 Likes, 17 Shares and a half-dozen comments, where a couple of users noticed the new names.

With much of AKA's 1/10-scale tire lineup dedicated to dirt tracks, and a couple of indoor clay tires already (including both the Slicks and other small-tread tires) it would make sense that the upcoming patterns could be more catered to carpet or turf surfaces, but that's totally a guess. They could be 1/8-scale tires, for all I know.
