Race Report from Yokomo:

The 2018 End of Summer Invitational was held this past weekend at Dave's R/C Tracks in Hubbard, Oregon! Dave's is one of the few tracks left in Oregon that has that "old school" off-road dirt racing feel. This years track layout was epic, with huge jump sections and elevation changes that proved to be challenging for even the best drivers. Yokomo was very well represented at this years Invitational with Team Drivers: Tanner Day, Jackson Andres, Brad Borneill, and Yokomo USA Team Manager Joe Pillars all in attendance.
The largest and most competitive class of the weekend was the Invitational 4wd Modified Buggy class. After all 5 rounds of qualifying were complete on Saturday, it was Yokomo's Tanner Day taking the overall TQ honors by just 1-point over his Yokomo teammate Jackson Andres.
After the dust had settled from all 3 A-Mains being ran on Sunday, it was Yokomo's Tanner Day coming out on top with the overall Win to finish off a perfect weekend! Yokomo's Jackson Andres took the Win in A-Main #3 to secure the 3rd spot on the podium. Yokomo USA Team Manager Joe Pillars put in great drives to finish 4th overall. Yokomo's Brad Borneill bumped up from the B-Main and then went onto finish 8th overall.
