Team Associated dominates at the Chippenham Winter Indoor Championship

 

This seasons Chippenham Winter Indoor Championship proved a very happy hunting ground for the Associated on road team, in the main 13.5 boosted class Olly Jefferies took victory at the penultimate round winning the series on a perfect score but going in to the last round the remaining podium positions were still to be decided

Kyle Gardner had been enjoying a good winter in the CWIC series and some strong performances during the winter months was enough for him to clinch the runners up spot and make it an Associated 1-2 with his TC6.1, finishing third was young Xray driver Reece Hodges

Also making the top ten overall was Chris Gunter, Judy Walker also had a good CWIC campain with her TC6.1

The AE team now start to prepare for the summer and weather permitting get some tarmac running under their belts, Olly has a 1:12 national at Stafford this month and Olly, Kyle and Chris also have the Gloucester Quays Grand Prix race in April, but apart from that expect to see them banging in the laps on the black stuff as they prepare for the summer nationals
