Team Durango wins in Israel

Team Durango Race Report:

On April 13th, Rishpon club in Israel had the second 2WD race of the series. The weather was perfect with a sunny sky and about 23deg. In the first round of qualifying it was Amit Bublil who set the time to beat, driving his Orion powered Team Durango DEX210.

On the second round, young guns Boris Melnik(17) driving an Orion powered DEX210 and Omer Assayag(15) showed they can set the bar even higher. Round three of qualifying saw Omer as TQ with Amit in second and Boris in third.

First leg of Final ended with Guy Rinkevich on top with Boris in second and Amit in third.

Second leg was won by Boris with Asaf in second. Guy and Amit battled all the way for third place while switching a lot during the race and on the final corner Amit managed to find the opportunity and still third place from Guy.

Third and final leg was owned by Omer who got away from all the other racers and finished first. Guy and Amit found themselves again battling all the way for second place and Amit was the one finishing in second with Guy in third.
