Team Orion and Jared Tebo win at the HRH Shootout

The 15th Annual HRH Shootout was held July 19th-22nd at Hot Rod Hobbies in Saugus, CA. The weather was very typical for the Shootout being in the upper 90's all weekend long putting ESC's, Motors, and Batteries to the ultimate test. This years event brought in over 300 race entries!

In the Modified Truck Class it was Team Orion/TLR Factory Driver Dustin Evans taking the TQ Honors.

A-Main #1: Team Orion/TLR's Dakotah Phend went on to take the Win over his teammate Dustin Evans by 1 second. Steven Hartson finished 3rd.

A-Main #2: Team Orion/Kyosho's Jared Tebo took the Win from the 4th starting position. Steven Hartson finished 2nd and Dustin Evans in 3rd.

A-Main #3: Steven Hartson would take the Win, Tebo finished 2nd only .4 behind, and Dustin Evans finished 3rd.

With both Tebo and Hartson finishing with a 1st and 2nd in two of the Mains, the Championship would come down to combined laps and times as the tie-breaker. After everything was added together, it was Team Orion/Kyosho's Jared Tebo taking the Modified Truck Overall Win by .1!

Team Orion had a very strong showing in this class with 6 drivers taking advantage of Team Orion Power in the A-Main!
