In the midst of the ongoing controversy between ROAR and Trinity over the D3.5 17.5 motors, more news has been released from the Trinity camp. Long time racer and TLR team driver, JR Mitch, has signed on board with Trinity for 2013. JR signing on with Trinity comes as a surprise for multiple reasons.
It has been quite some time since Trinity has built upon an offroad race team, as they are known more for their dominating onroad team of drivers. Could the signing of JR mean a revival of Trinity's offroad team?
Much of the development in Trinity products seem to lend their hand more to the onroad and oval scene, will JR be a part of the development in more offroad oriented products?
Last, but not least, could this mean more and more top drivers making their way to Trinity soon? Budgets and teams have been changing by the day for 2013, with several top drivers still in limbo for the electric offroad season (Ex. Cody King after leaving Team Orion). Will Trinity be picking up more and more of these drivers just in time for the 2013 IFMAR Electric Offroad Worlds here in America?
