Over the eight years, the Psycho Nitro Blast has gone from “that crazy race back East” to one of the most competitive nitro off-road events in the U.S. It’s easily one of the most intense sensory experiences you could have at an RC race: lights, music, driver intros, fog machines, roaming monsters, and decorations otherwise only found in haunted houses - the really good ones that cost money.
Esteemed race director Jimmy Babcock once again returned to the PNB to keep the program on schedule:
At this year’s PNB VIII - Days of the Damned, 486 entries turned laps on the temporary course built inside the Southeastern Arena in Unadilla, GA. The week started off with the race’s traditional marathon practice that runs all night - this is what the drivers’ stand looked like at 2 AM!
After three rounds of qualifying and main events - long nitro races and double-A’s for electric classes - here are the winners:
