On August 27, 2006 I was paralyzed from the chest down racing motocross at the age of 18 only a few short months after graduating high school. My passion for racing continued, and I turned to R/C car racing. In 2007, I started a career in the industry as a small business owner and graphic designer. In 2008, I attended the IFMAR World Championships as part of Team USA as a racer. In 2011, I began my career as a travelling announcer and content editor for LiveRC.com. 

On August 27, 2016 (ten years later to the day of my injury) I married the girl of my dreams - Britani Jo. Britani took on my love for R/C racing and she too became an avid racer, LiveRC crew member, ROAR Regional director, and my biggest supporter.

On August 27, 2021 (fifteen years to the day of my injury) we celebrated our 5-year wedding anniversary with a monumental experience that changed my life forever. The High Fives Foundation and Motodemption team flew us to the mountains of Colorado to do the impossible. Britani has never seen me walk, let alone ride motocross, but that all changed as I was given the opportunity to ride once again using a specially built adaptive dirt bike.

Words cannot describe the feeling of "being 18 again", doing what I love, and proving the impossible IS possible. 

Now it's time for me to give back, and make opportunities like this possible for other spinal cord injury individuals.
